Last week, I deleted my Ghost account and moved everything to a platform I built myself.
For years, I used Ghost for blogging. Last week, I moved everything to blogging.dev, a platform I built over the past few weeks. It was genuinely fun. Modern tools like NextJS and Tiptap make building small projects like this surprisingly enjoyable.
Is there a market for another blogging platform? Probably not. The space is crowded with WordPress and Ghost. But I'm not building this to compete. I build tools for myself - for my business and personal work. If it helps others too, that's a bonus.
Next up: migrating all my other websites to the new platform. Stay tuned.
Edit: NextCMS is rebranded to blogging.dev
