Hi, I'm Vu Nguyen 👋

I'm a technical founder who loves building products that solve real problems in Southeast Asia. Over the past ten years, I've started several tech companies and led engineering teams in fintech, travel tech, and AI.

Right now, I'm building Stag, a wealth management platform that helps Vietnamese employees reach their financial goals. Before this, I led AI & Big Data at MoMo, Vietnam's largest payment app, and founded Inspitrip, a venture-backed travel platform.

Outside of work, I care deeply about creating technology that makes a positive difference. I believe in building products that solve business problems while improving people's lives. I'm working on data & AI apps and open source projects.

My path has taken me from running a startup studio in Vietnam to joining H2 Ventures' fintech accelerator in Sydney. Through successes and failures, I've learned that the most rewarding projects create lasting value for users while pushing technical boundaries.

I write about technical leadership, product development, and growing engineering teams in Southeast Asia. I share honest stories and practical lessons from my experience to help others who are building technology for good.
