Inspitrip is backed by H2 Ventures

Recently, we were accepted by H2 Ventures, one of the top VC funds in Sydney, Australia. This was a major milestone for us. For over a year, we had been working on the Inspitrip prototype - a travel platform connecting travelers with locals to create authentic experiences. Before securing this funding, we bootstrapped the business ourselves, running an outsourcing company to fund our travel startup. After all that hard work, we finally gained backing from this Australian venture capital firm.
Our Experience at H2X Accelerator

We attended a 2-week intensive training and networking program called H2X. We joined alongside founders from 17 other startups for this opportunity. The program structure includes 2 weeks of intensive training, followed by 4 months to bring our product to market. At the time, we had already built Inspitrip and were seeing initial traction.
The program connected us with mentors on a daily basis. These included entrepreneurs-in-residence, founders from current and previous cohorts, and H2 co-founders Ben and Toby. These experienced professionals brought valuable expertise in business strategy, investment, and financial sector networks. They helped us refine both our product and market strategy.
Accelerate the business
Training was just the first phase of the program. Afterward, we needed to establish a company in Australia to receive funding. Working closely with mentors, we developed a business plan to test and scale. Unlike some teams at the idea stage, we already had our concept, product, and some initial users. Our focus was on growing to a larger scale.
The Demo Day - H2 Expo

Each team had approximately 4 months to develop their ideas and create a minimum viable product (MVP). These would be showcased at an expo event—the H2 Expo—where we could connect with potential investors.
