My app tech stack 2025

The most impactful change in my technology stack has been moving more into JavaScript/Typescript and cloud services such as Vercel, and Supabase in recent years, shifting from backend systems to more user-facing technology. This switch has made coding easier and faster for our project teams, helping us build and launch new features quickly.
Best of all, it costs is down close to $100 for all our web app needs (not include the backend core). Coming from a background in backend work, this move to more user-focused tools has truly changed how we build products and get them to market faster.
[2025 App Startup Stack]
NextJS: web framework
Vercel: hosting (increase dev speed, and dev experience)
Supabase: backend/auth/storage (like Firebase but on PostgreSQL)
Expo: mobile
GCP: the heavy backend core, storage, and the data platform.
